Toss the DVR and go to the cloud.
Cloud Video Management is a natural progression with technology improvements. Smaller and faster processors and edge storage devices enable systems to be put together like Legos™. Build the system you need as you need it. View and manage through the web. These are the advantages that Cloud Surveillance offers our customers.

How Cloud Surveillance Works
Video is stored locally inside the security camera, and optionally on a local USB hard drive. This is called Edge Storage. You communicate directly with the security camera over the internet. No DVR is needed. There are no costs associated with cloud hosting because video is not stored in the cloud.*
Surveillance video is streamed on demand through a Cloud Portal on the internet (called SaaS - Software as a Service). This Cloud Portal is free with every Sniper Cloud Camera. Our system is network-friendly because video is only uploaded on demand so it doesn't clog up your company's network bandwidth.
Live and recorded video is viewed using using a browser on a computer (IE, Firefox, Chrome), or a browser on a smart phone or tablet - no software installation is needed. [Internet Explorer Screenshot]
Optional free pro-user software adds advanced functionality. This software can also be used if you want to view video locally without going through your cloud portal on the internet. [NVR-10 Screenshot]
Optional free apps are available for the iPhone, iPad, and Android. [iPad App Screenshot]
*There are no cloud hosting fees because video is hosted in the camera, not the cloud. On 4G wireless cameras, cloud hosting fees might apply in some environments.
