Cloud Video Management

Cloud Video Management (CVM) allows you to break free from traditional security camera hardware restrictions such as a limited number of cameras and processing capabilities.

  • Video is stored locally inside a Sniper Cloud Camera and optionally on a local USB hard drive. The camera communicates with a router for internet access. No DVR is needed.
  • Video is streamed on demand through a Cloud Portal on the internet (called SaaS - Software as a Service). This Cloud Portal is free with every Sniper Cloud Camera. There are no costs associated with hosting because video is not stored in the cloud.
