See 2 or 3 Views in 1 Video Channel with a Multiview Security Camera

eLine's Multiview Security Dome has wide-angle and telephoto cameras inside. In addition to the processor for each camera, the dome has a processor that combines video from all cameras into selected display modes, and then sends this display over one cable to your DVR.

Display modes include PIP (adjustable location and size), assorted split screens, and full screen. You can also set these display modes to auto sequence with an adjustable dwell time.

Display Modes

There are two models available.
ELI-MDMV2-56 has (1) 2.4mm wide angle lens plus (1) 16mm telephoto lens.
ELI-MDMV3-56 has (2) 2.4mm wide angle lenses plus (1) 12mm telephoto lens.

Why Would you Want Multiple Cameras in a Dome?

There are two situations where a multiview camera is an ideal solution.

  1. To add more cameras to a security camera system that is maxed out (ie. already has 8 cameras on an 8-channel DVR).
  2. As an alternative to HD megapixel cameras. MP cameras are ideal for giving you wide views plus the ability to zoom into detail, but these cameras do not work with analog security camera systems. As an alternative, a multi-view dome can give you a wide-angle shot from one camera plus a telephoto shot of faces or other detail.

Multiview Examples

  • Wide-angle lens on vehicle traffic + telephoto lens on license plate areas.
  • Wide-angle lens on office overview + telephoto lens on doorways or other areas for face close-ups.
  • Wide-angle lens on elevator interior + telephoto lens focused on floor number display
  • Any situation you need a wide angle view + a close up view.
